Project Summary

This was a COVID-19 quarantine dual project that was started as part of a stay at home virtual social media contest and utilized for content for a new online university for the Colorado Mountain Club. This clip is a stop motion compilation that was part of the larger video and stop motion series.

Approach

I conceptualized the script and frame timeline then established location and photoshoot setup. A series of consecutive still shots were used to "move" and create action throughout the progression of the video and each stop motion frame.

Solution

A fun mini series and several outputs from experimenting and developing new skillset to continue to constructively stay relevant and creative during quarantine lockdown.

Impact

Through some creative boredom I volunteered some of my time to create video content the club could publish on their website and use for years to come. Video content is time consuming and expensive if you pay professionals, so any free volunteer work is impactful to a non-profit organization especially one run by volunteers.
