Project Summary

2013 was the year we launched a brand re-design for SDI Camps in efforts to boost our client base and overall sales. During this effort we leveraged new marketing initiatives to network and attend several coaches conventions to draw in new clients. This prompted a need for updated marketing and advertising collateral including business cards, our trade show booth assets and fresh marketing slicks. Luckily we took our summer slow season to make this possible.

Strategy

Leveraging a fresh re-design and new creative aesthetics I created fresh trade show assets incorporating the new look and feel. All related collateral pieces were updated including four unique marketing slicks for each collegiate sales region. Once designs were completed we printed a large format banner to hang at the booth and flyers to distribute to potential new clients within those respective regions.

Solution

The coaches convention trade show banner was a hit and the sales team were able to attract several new clients from networking at the booth. The assembly and production was a success and the traveling trade show assets were used over and over again to attend several conventions that year. Furthermore, our new brand campaign launch was successful and we scaled our clients and products exponentially following the launch.

Impact

After our campaign launch in 2013 we scaled our products and services exponentially while growing the company rapidly the next several years. So quickly, in fact, we sold the company in a large acquisition with Stack Sports a few short years later and more than doubled our client base. We had an inside joke at our company as several smaller competitors at the time even went so far as to copy our look and feel after the re-design campaign launched.
