I brainstormed and sketched some fun witty design ideas prior to creating the illustrations. I decided on a card size then created the vector graphics before designing the card layout. Thinking up witty copy was a piece of the process to engage both visually and with good messaging. Once I landed on messaging and illustration I worked to layout the card in an aesthetically pleasing way before finalizing the design for print.
The final card design is sure to be a tear jerker for any maternal figure who receives it as a gift. The motivational theme is meant to uplift those inspirational figures in our life and thank them for all they did for us. The fun illustration and message is great for both Mother's Day or any occasion year round.
