Opportunity

Project Summary

During my time at this creative agency we had a client who was affiliated with the purchasing of large resorts by companies like Grand Teton Lodge and Xanterra for bid proposals for purchasing places such as the Kennedy Space Center, Signal Mountain and Flagg Ranch. We had the opportunity to design a cohesive theme to unify a set of printed collateral to showcase the bidding proposal for land and resort ownership selection. We would conceptualize themes centered around the location or proposal to draw inspiration to be used across a variety of printed applications including: binders, cds, page copy, tabs, layout, cover pages, infographics, and more. We would pitch ideas and concepts that capture the overarching proposal and present to the stakeholders to determine creative direction.

Approach

I collaborated with design team members, the project manager, and bidding companies to establish a unique creative direction relevant to both the location and topic of proposal. I helped pitch a winning water theme concept for Signal Mountain and the directional sign theme for Flagg Ranch. I then helped in the design and layout of subsequent tabs, cover pages, page and content layout, and all materials put together in the proposal. Designing custom infographics for use throughout, curating graphic and photographic content for the pages and designing the layout of the proposal itself. We then put all components together to print and assemble each binder with all items in the proposal reflecting the unified design.

Solution

The final product was a visually eye-catching binder containing visually engaging content throughout the proposal and accompanying assets. The cohesive set of printed collateral was reflective of the proposal and location to elegantly present a professional land bid proposal that was thoughtful and strategically executed.

Impact

The impact of the proposal design was critical in engaging the buyers visually and communicating their seriousness through preparation. The visuals would have a direct impact on the final outcome of the sale and purchasing agreement.
