Opportunity

Project Summary

This painting has a bit of hilarity to its fate, which is still unknown to me. Ironically this was technically the first painting I sold if I only count my eCommerce site and not commissions or gifts. The lady who purchased it from me lived in Florida and had some unusual requests due to their monsoon season at the time. Unfortunately there was a hiccup in shipping and USPS demanded outstanding shipping from both her and myself to which was declined. I'm assuming they are still in possession of the painting and hopefully they enjoy it at some point out of the box.

Approach

I hand painted, mounted and designed this custom piece by imaginative brainstorming and sketching. The pattern and execution is a unique one-of-a-kind piece.

Solution

The final canvas board is fairly small just slightly larger than your standard paper size, but the colors are bright and impactful. The abstract pattern keeps your eye wandering as you scope the canvas. Unfortunately the fate of this piece hangs in loom until someone forks over the cash.

Impact

The buyer never enjoyed this painting due to it being lost in shipping black hole or a random warehouse somewhere. Hopefully it breaks out of USPS jail at some point to live its life on the walls of the unknown.
